Challenge Overview


Pen y Fan is the highest peak in Southern Britain and the highest mountain within the beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.

Although smaller than some of the UK’s other mountains, Pen y Fan is a challenging and rewarding hike that attracts walkers from across the country.
