Hi, I’m Mathew Whitehouse & Welcome to SponsorMattyUK. In November 2026, I’ll be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. Africa’s highest mountain & highest freestanding mountain on Earth. to raise vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Mt Kilimanjaro rises 5,895 metres (19,341 ft) & ends at Uhuru Peak (“Freedom Peak”). The climb doesn’t require technical mountaineering skills, it’s a serious endurance challenge demanding physical stamina, mental resilience & determination.

it’s one of the toughest endurance challenges in the world. I’m not an athlete, I’m just a regular lad from West Bromwich, but I want to make a difference. 

The children at Birmingham Children’s Hospital don’t get to choose their fight, so I’ll fight for them. Every penny you donate goes directly to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
